Mark your calendar for our final networking event of the 2024-25 year, ASC Goes In House! This event will feature wine, hors d’oeuvres, and CLE credit.
Our General Counsel panelists will discuss their paths to becoming in-house lawyers, the “dos” and “don’ts” of providing outside counsel support to companies, and some of the unique legal issues faced by in-house counsel. Our esteemed panelists will be Megan Donovan, Head of U.S. Legal at Galderma Laboratories; Telisa Schelin, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Extenet Systems; Dena DeNooyer Stroh, General Counsel and Ethics Officer at North Texas Tollway Authority; and Betty Ungerman, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Lennox International. The discussion will be moderated by ASC member Simran Nijjar, an SMU law student member who will begin her career at Polsinelli in the fall. Watch for an RSVP link in one of our upcoming newsletters.

The Silent Auction Needs Your Help!
We will be back at Munsch Hardt for the 2025 ASC Silent Auction, and this year’s theme is WICKED! The Silent Auction is open to the public, so help spread the word and invite your friends to join us in the Land of Oz.
Our Silent Auction Co-Chairs and Committee are hard at work soliciting items for the auction and planning the event, but there are lots of ways you can help:
1. We need vacation homes and tickets to concerts, plays, and sporting events. These items are always bestsellers, so please consider donating to the Silent Auction. Reach out to Neena Wiora if you have any leads.
2. Ask the restaurants, shops, and businesses you frequent to donate an item to the Silent Auction. You can download and print our Donor Solicitation Letter here.
3. We need restaurant gift cards and wine donations ideally valued at $25 or more for our Fork and Cork Pulls. Please pick one up to donate the next time you are out! You can bring your items to the March Planning meeting, ASC Goes In House, or other ASC events, or contact the Silent Auction Committee to coordinate the donation. We are needing 30 of each.
4. Ask your firm to contribute a firm basket. Please participate in this fun annual tradition! The theme can be whatever you’d like, and the winning firm will be awarded a fantastic prize.
5. Help us turn Munsch Hardt into the Land of Oz by purchasing décor from the Silent Auction’s wish list.
We also need volunteers for the Silent Auction. We need more volunteers this year than in past years, given the growth of this event and our desire to minimize the impact on Munsch Hardt’s space and operations. With that in mind, please sign up to help. There are opportunities on April 2, 3, and 4, so choose the shift or shifts that best fit your schedule. Thank you for helping us make the Silent Auction a success!
