Founded in 1987, Attorneys Serving the Community is a dynamic volunteer organization of more than 400 women lawyers, judges, law students, and legal industry service professionals with J.D.s in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

For over 30 years, ASC has championed the causes of non-profit organizations in Dallas-Fort Worth that benefit women, children, and families. Each year, ASC selects a different local non-profit with one or more of these focus areas and raises funds and awareness for the non-profit through a variety of fundraising events, including a Fall Bazaar, a 5K race, and a Silent Auction. ASC’s beneficiary receives 100% of all proceeds that ASC raises and enhanced public awareness about the beneficiary’s services.

Our fundraising events culminate each year in an annual Luncheon, which occurs in June. Prior guest speakers at ASC’s Luncheon include former Secretary of State, Senator and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton; former First Lady Laura Bush and Today Show correspondent Jenna Bush Hager; Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony award winner Viola Davis; Grammy Award winner, actor, and singer Christopher Jackson (Hamilton); New York Times bestselling author and producer of the Hulu hit series Dopesick, Beth Macy; and James Beard Award-winning chef and author Kwame Onwuachi.

ASC is proud to have raised more than $5 million (net) for Dallas-Fort Worth non-profits since 2015. ASC’s success is a tribute to the commitment of our membership and the community of lawyers, law firms, businesses, and individuals that support ASC and its beneficiaries.
