Silent Auction Help Needed!
We are tickled pink getting ready for the Silent Auction but can use your help! Here’s how you can contribute:
Please read our Silent Auction Committee’s letter to our membership to find out more about how YOU can help.
1. We need tickets to concerts, plays, and sporting events. These items are always best sellers. Do you have season tickets? Are you going to use every ticket to every event? If not, please consider donating unused tickets to the Silent Auction.
2. Do you have a favorite spa or med-spa? Are you a “regular”? Please ask them to donate a gift certificate or service to the Silent Auction.
3. Did you go crazy at Nordstrom Rack a few months ago, buy items that didn’t fit, and forgot to return them? We will take them!
4. Is there a Mona Lisa hidden in the back of your closet because it does not match your design aesthetic anymore? A luxury purse, in great condition, that you simply don’t use anymore? We would love for you to donate gently used items that you have Maria Kondo’ed out of your life.
5. We are still looking for bottles of wine valued at $10 or more and restaurant gift cards valued at $25 or more.
6. Please print our solicitation letter and take it with you when you are out and about on the town. Ask the restaurants, shops, and businesses you frequent to donate an item.
7. Also, we need your help purchasing decorations for the Silent Auction! Please see our wish-list! Questions? Reach out to Silent Auction committee member Shelly Joyner.
Finally, please think about volunteering on April 25! We will need volunteers to help set-up, check out and take down.
If you want to volunteer or make a donation, please let us know and we’ll come by to pick it up or you can drop off your donations between 9:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday, April 6, April 13 or April 20. Please contact our Silent Auction Co-Chairs—Anne Sparks (anne.sparks@thermon.com), Tiffany Lam-Bentley (tlambentley@bal.com), or Jigyasa Singla (jigyasa@leboeuflaw.com) to coordinate. We would love to see you and thank you in person!
