ASC Unveils New Website for Enhanced Member Experience and Community Impact
ASC is thrilled to announce the release of its new and improved website!
Many thanks to Holly Feld at HRF Creative for assisting us in designing and developing our new website. If you plan to re-develop a website soon, please consider retaining Holly. She made redesigning our website a breeze.
On our updated website, you can learn more about:
our new beneficiary, Crossroads Community Services;
the four important initiatives we are fundraising to support;
our upcoming events; and
how to join a committee.
You can also join ASC or renew your membership!
Last year, our members raised more than $75,000 in membership dues alone! Although, historically, many of our members have paid membership dues through North Texas Giving Day, this year, we are asking members to renew on or before September 21 through ASC’s website or using the attached form. (You can also pay by credit card directly on the Crossroads website. Please indicate your donation is for ASC membership dues.)
Communities Foundation of Texas, which created and manages NTGD, is an amazing organization that does an incredible amount of good in our community. In our experience, however, donations made through NTGD’s website are not distributed to our beneficiaries until late November or early December. Several big-ticket expenses, including deposits for our luncheon and the speaker, must be paid in late October. Remarkably, NTGD will recognize donations made directly to a charity on or before September 21, if the donor’s intent is to contribute toward the charity’s NTGD total. This means that we can renew our memberships on or before September 21 and Crossroads will have immediate access to those funds, while still qualifying for NTGD’s prizes.
Finally, please consider “stepping-up” your membership dues this year. If you were a Leadership Member last year, please consider renewing as a Leadership Gold Member. If you were a Sustaining Member, please consider renewing as a Leadership Member. Remember that every dollar paid in membership dues is a direct donation to Crossroads Community Services. To fund all of our initiatives this year, we need to raise more than $400,000 (net) – the most raised in a single year. We can do it together.
