We are eagerly counting down the days until ASC’s WICKED Silent Auction! Come visit the Land of Oz, where we’ll raise much-needed funds for POETIC — remembering that “everyone deserves the chance to fly.” This event is open to the public, so help us spread the word far and wide.
As in past years, bidding for the Silent Auction will take place online. This means that even if you can’t attend in person, you can still participate and support POETIC! You must simply be able to pick up any physical items following the event (at a later date).
How Can You Help Make the Silent Auction a Success?
Our amazing Silent Auction Committee is truly defying gravity getting ready for the big event, but we need your help! Here’s how you can contribute:
We need vacation homes and tickets to concerts, plays, and sporting events. These items are always bestsellers. Do you have dates when you can part with your vacation home? Do you have certain season tickets that you’re not planning to use? If so, please consider donating to the Silent Auction.
Do you have a favorite spa or med spa? Are you a “regular”? Please ask them to donate a gift certificate or service to the Silent Auction. You can download and print our Donor Solicitation Letter here.
Ask the restaurants and other businesses you frequent to donate an item. Most businesses are happy to donate to a worthy cause, especially when the request comes from a great customer.
We need restaurant gift cards and wine donations, valued at $25 or more, for our Fork and Cork pulls. We need 30 of each category, so please pick one up to donate the next time you are out! You can bring your items to ASC Goes in House on March 20, or contact a member of the Silent Auction Committee to coordinate pickup of the donation.
Ask your firm to contribute a firm basket. Please participate in this fun annual tradition! The theme can be whatever you’d like, and the winning firm will be awarded a fantastic prize.
We need volunteers! Please sign up to help. There are volunteer opportunities on April 2, 3, and 4, so choose the shift or shifts that best fit your schedule.
If you have questions or ideas related to the Silent Auction, please reach out to one of our Silent Auction Committee Co-Chairs: Neena Wiora, Jigyasa Singla, Michelle Carey Jones, or Tiffany Lam-Bentley.
You may drop off any Silent Auction donations at Neena Wiora’s house, 3480 Golfing Green Drive, Dallas, Texas 75234, or coordinate with one of the Committee Co-chairs to arrange for pickup.
