The Silent Auction Still Needs Your Help!
Ladies,
Come on Barbie – Let’s Go Party! We are tickled pink getting ready for the Silent Auction, but we can use your help! Here’s how you can contribute:
1. We need tickets to concerts, plays, and sporting events. These items are always best sellers. Do you have season tickets? Are you going to use every ticket to every event? If not, please consider donating unused tickets to the Silent Auction.
2. Do you have a favorite spa or med-spa? Are you a “regular”? Please ask them to donate a gift certificate or service to the Silent Auction.
3. Did you go crazy at Nordstrom Rack a few months ago, buy items that didn’t fit, and forget to return them? We will take them!
4. Is there a Mona Lisa hidden in the back of your closet because it no longer fits your design aesthetic? A luxury purse in great condition that you simply don’t use anymore? We would love for you to donate gently used items that you have Maria Kondo’d out of your life.
5. We are still looking for bottles of wine valued at $10 or more and restaurant gift cards valued at $25 or more.
6. Please print our solicitation letter and take it with you when you are out and about on the town. Ask the restaurants, shops, and businesses you frequent to donate an item.
7. Also, we need your help purchasing decorations for the Silent Auction! Please see our wish list! Questions? Reach out to Silent Auction committee member Shelly Joyner.
Also, please consider volunteering on April 25! We need volunteers to help set up, check out, and take down.
If you want to volunteer or make a donation, please let us know, and we’ll come by to pick it up. You can also drop off your donations between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, April 13, or April 20.
