ASC Networking Events

Each year, ASC holds three networking events to facilitate meaningful connections among the women attorneys of ASC, while also supporting ASC’s chosen beneficiary. Thanks to our sponsors, members and supporters for making these events a success!

ASC’s first networking event of the 2024-25 year, ASC Goes Couture, took place on October 9 at Stanley Korshak. It was a fun evening of fashion and networking with significant funds raised for ASC’s beneficiary, POETIC.

ASC’s second networking event of the year, ASC Gives Back, took place on January 30 at the offices of Berry Appleman & Leiden. Our attendees assembled 100 therapy kits for clients of POETIC, created paper poppies to be used as decor at ASC’s Wicked-themed Silent Auction (coming up on April 3!), and enjoyed a fascinating CLE panel discussion on human trafficking in North Texas and the efforts to combat it.

ASC’s third and final networking event of the year, ASC Goes In House, will take place on Thursday, March 20 at the offices of Sheppard Mullin. Join us for an evening of wine, hors d’oeuvres, and CLE credit, where our General Counsel panelists will discuss their paths to becoming in-house lawyers, the “dos” and “don’ts” of providing outside counsel support to companies, and some of the unique legal issues faced by in-house counsel. Our esteemed panelists will be Megan Donovan, Head of U.S. Legal at Galderma Laboratories; Telisa Schelin, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Extenet Systems; Dena DeNooyer Stroh, General Counsel and Ethics Officer at North Texas Tollway Authority; and Betty Ungerman, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Lennox International.
